After working for one year on Upwork, I stop working there. This is due to the hard work schedule (trivial lack of time).

I get a lot of offers of outsourcing on Upwork, but I’m not interested in it. It can cause reputational damage and also requires extra time to do business. Besides, I’m a loner work proponent. Yeah, I’m not a typical entrepreneur 😀

Upwork has left pleasant memories, despite quite controversial recent feedback from freelancers. Above all, it concerns specialists with low qualifications. There’s fierce competition.

I would especially like to note the functionality of this site. I, as an avid perfectionist, was fine with everything. Everything’s at a high level. The design is excellent and pleasant for work.

Honestly, there’s not much of a chance for newcomers. In addition to all this, the cleaning of low-qualified workers has begun there. But if you decided to work there, I wish you good luck.

About me, I want to focus on my own projects: develop this blog, work on related projects and look for new opportunities for personal and financial development.

I believe that each of us should strive for something more. Okay, now there’s a crisis that’s not clear how long it’ll last. But experience shows that in times of crisis, new opportunities arise: read the story of Uber and Airbnb.

Learn and grow!
